Hi Gang,
Well, this board is just begging to be used so if you want to hear from someone other than me, chime in. Pam and I went for a little snowshoe hike this morning. (Sun, Feb. 10th) After breakfast at Cracker Barrel we decided to work it off while walking. We went to the town's cross country ski trail across from the Morrison House on Pillsbury Rd. We expected the parking lot to be packed but we were the only ones. We started at 9:10 and returned at 10:20. We only went as far as the second orchard, the one on Adams Rd. We decided not to circumvent the second one. The trail wasn't groomed so we had to guess where the tracks were. George , Jim Pratt and I went the first day that it was groomed for the season and it was beautiful!.. Today was not sunny but it was still pretty in the woods, like a black and white postcard picture. The snow was virgin except for all the critters. There were fresh deer tracks everywhere, especially around the apple trees. All in all it was a good little walk in the woods. I hope that everyone who likes to get out in the woods on snowshoes or skis takes advantage of all that our town has to offer. I never even knew about the trail across from the Morrison House if it weren't for George. (thanks, boss) Anyway, just wanted to touch base and share. Enjoy your week, everyone. Wayne <><
